(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of December 13, the Roundtable Conference "Prime Minister with the Global Network of Experts on Vietnam Development" co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnam Initiative Group took place at Hanoi. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired the Conference.

Attending the Conference were Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, leaders of ministries, branches, research and advisory agencies, networks of experts and scholars at home and abroad.
This is one of the many policy consultations for the Government with the participation of a large number of international experts and Vietnamese intellectuals from abroad organized, actively contributing to creating an important dialogue channel for intellectuals. Vietnam contributes critical comments to the Government's policy making and administration process.
The conference discussed three topics: positioning Vietnam in the global production chain and value chain; industrial policies for Vietnam in the coming period; remove growth bottlenecks and develop tectonics. These are issues that Vietnam is very interested in promoting but the implementation process still faces many obstacles and difficulties.
Speaking at the Conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the Government always tries to listen with the spirit of praying for the opinions of the people, experts, scientists and businesses. Today's life, inadequate issues to have coping solutions for sustainable development ”.

The Prime Minister expressed his delight at the opinion of experts who said that in the difficult situation, Vietnam still has a big room for growth. From this idea, the Government will absorb to make more appropriate and effective policy adjustments.
In the spirit of listening and acting, the Prime Minister asked the Government Office to coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnam Initiative Group to build a channel to mobilize international knowledge sources in combination with domestic knowledge sources to regularly support the Government in policy advice and information sharing within the legal framework. Activities need specific, practical results.
Ministry of Industry and Trade can discuss further with the research team of Prof. Hausmann, Prof. Tran Van Tho, Associate Professor Tran Ngoc Anh and other experts in industry and trade to assess economic restructuring associated with participation.
